The Oracle database language du jour is primarily pl/sqland SQL. However as many third party vendors create more shareware for software development it may become quite difficult to stay within the pl/sql SQL mix. JAVA, on the scene since 1978 has become the language that is used quite extensively in Oracle developmental database as well as third party software. The author will explore basic fundamentals compiling using JAVA in Oracle 12c as well as examples that the audience may try themselves.
