Getting to Know You: Visual Builder and Oracle Redwood
Visual Builder is Oracle’s highly-evolved JavaScript application development tool. That may sound a bit daunting for non-JavaScript developers, but if you’ve worked with any development tool from Oracle, or any other vendor, in the past, you’ll find that Visual Builder makes this type of work easier. This session explains where Visual Builder fits in the wide range of current Oracle development tools, and why you might want to select it over the others for custom apps as wellas Oracle Cloud/Fusion/EBS apps. The presentation shows what the development experience looks like when working with Visual Builder and what kind of license you need to use it. In addition, Oracle has developed a highly-evolved set of design principles and philosophies called “Oracle Redwood” and it has been using Oracle Redwood for its Fusion/Cloud application suites. This presentation will explain how Oracle Redwood provides additional assistance to developers for designing user interfaces for their custom or Oracle-packaged applications.
