NYOUG 2019 Winter Meeting: Succinct Study of Oracle SQL BI API as Evolution
A detailed study with a succinct number of examples is provided with use cases based on advancements made to the Oracle SQL BI API from version 12c through 19c with both retrospective and comparative approaches, seeking for variational features for improved maintenance, upgrade, and migrations, and for the relevant optimal query performance tuning. The study is based on several best-practices case studies as recommended by Oracle, and on personal experience working in SQL BI applications in the earlier releases of the Oracle12c database technology family.
