This presentation will focus on using Machine learning via Oracle R technologies in OBIEE for actionable BI. It highlights R-based predictive analytics algorithms of machine learning and their implementation in Oracle by means of a business use case. It then highlights how the output of prediction can be visually integrated into OBIEE Dashboards for actionable insight.

Lakshman Bulusu is a 22+ years experienced IT professional based in the New York Metro area. He has worked extensively in the Oracle Database realm and its related technologies like PL/SQL, Oracle-related Java, EPM/BI including Open Source BI, OBIEE, and Essbase; and Oracle Developer Tools. He has authored 8 books on Oracle Forms, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle and Java, OBIEE and Essbase, and Open Source BI; and contributed to technical journals/magazines like SELECT Journal of IOUG, Oracle Scene of UKOUG and Oracle Professional.
